I was impressed from the very first time I met Jeannette Markey and saw the Markey Blue Band perform. What really caught my eye was the band’s impeccable showmanship and ability to execute live on stage; not only as great musicians but as seasoned entertainers. Markey is a unique songstress, a compelling songwriter and a woman of the blues who is very talented and can truly sing. She doesn’t knock anyone over with belting-loud screams or stage antics. Instead, she’ll blow your mind with her wide scale vocal range and deep resonating tones. I realized that here was the complete package, on stage, right in front of me. When Markey told me about her new release “HEY HEY” I listened to the tracks and knew she was destined for International Recognition. It’s my pleasure to Welcome Markey Blue to the Blues Pros Talent Roster.
